The correct answer is:
D

18

Let the A. P. be a - 3d, a - d, a + d, a + 3d

The sum of the terms = 48 = 4a a = 12

Given,

(16-d 2 )35 = (144-d 2 ) 3

35d 2 - 3d 2 = 16 x 35 - 144 x 3

32d 2 = 16 (35 - 27) = 16 x 8

d 2 =4 d = ±2

So the numbers are: 6,10,14,18
